• Candidate with a B.Sc. Engineering degree in ILET (Institute of Leather Engineering and Technology) will get preference.

• Support the product development lifecycle from concept to final approved sample.
• Collaborate with design and merchandising teams to understand product briefs and translate them into prototypes.
• Coordinate with material suppliers, sole vendors, and factories to develop samples in line with specifications.
• Review prototypes and wear test samples to ensure quality, comfort, and construction standards.
• Assist in cost engineering and negotiate with vendors to meet target costings without compromising quality.
• Monitor and manage development timelines to ensure timely delivery of samples and bulk orders.
• Conduct technical reviews and troubleshoot issues related to fit, materials, or construction.
• Maintain product documentation including tech packs, BOMs, and sample records.
• Ensure compliance with brand standards, sustainability goals, and market regulations.
• Support in vendor evaluation and onboarding processes.
• Liaise with cross-functional teams (QA, Production, Sourcing, Logistics) to ensure smooth handoff from development to production.
