We are a Knit Composite Textile Factory seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Manager for the Knit Fabric Dyeing Department.

Job location will be Zamgora, Ashulia, Savar.

• Batch Planning: Execute daily production plans to ensure timely delivery of dyed fabric.

• Shade Matching: Supervise the lab-to-bulk transfer, ensuring first-time-right (FTR) results and minimizing re-dyeing or shading issues.

• Process Optimization: Monitor and adjust dyeing cycles (heating, cooling, and chemical dosing) for various knit structures like Single Jersey, Rib, and Interlock.

• Chemical Management: Oversee the correct usage of dyes and auxiliaries to control costs and maintain environmental standards.

• Standard Operating Procedures (SOP): Ensure all technicians and operators strictly follow SOPs for chemical handling and machine operation.

• Fabric Integrity: Monitor physical properties such as shrinkage, GSM, and colorfastness (wash, light, and perspiration) according to buyer specifications.

• Compliance: Maintain a clean and safe working environment, ensuring adherence to EHS (Environmental Health and Safety) and chemical restriction guidelines (e.g., ZDHC, REACH).

• Wastage Control: Identify and reduce water, steam, and chemical wastage to improve the floor’s sustainability and profitability.

• Machine Maintenance: Coordinate with the maintenance department for preventive upkeep of dyeing machines (e.g., Sclavos, Thies, or Fong's).

• Reporting: Prepare daily production, RFT (Right First Time) percentage, and chemical consumption reports for senior management.

• Perform any other tasks as assigned by the management.
