Responsibilities & Context:

Job Context

The Assistant Manager – HR Operations will be responsible for leading end-to-end HR operational activities with a strong focus on employee engagement, performance management, talent development, and compliance. The role plays a critical part in driving workforce productivity, retention, and a positive industrial climate aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead HR operations including employee engagement initiatives, performance management systems, and talent development programs to support business success.

  • Design and implement strategies to improve workplace productivity, employee retention, and effective employee relations.

  • Oversee grievance handling, absenteeism control, and leave management to ensure a harmonious and disciplined work environment.

  • Manage and monitor Performance Development Plans (PDP) for employees at all levels to build a strong and sustainable talent pipeline.

  • Collaborate closely with department heads to align people development initiatives with organizational and operational goals.

  • Ensure strict compliance with company policies, EPZ labor laws, Bangladesh labor laws, and ethical standards, maintaining zero tolerance for harassment and misconduct.

  • Manpower Budgeting Knowledge (Direct Vs Indirect).

  • Prepare, analyze, and present HR analytics, MIS reports, and dashboards to support management decision-making and compliance reporting.
