Responsibilities & Context:
Job Context
We are looking for an experienced AGM – Production to lead end-to-end production operations, ensure on-time delivery, drive productivity, and maintain high-quality standards in our garment manufacturing facility.
Job Responsibilities
Review and adjust production plans 1–2 times daily based on material availability and delivery status; ensure coordination with Production Manager.
Monitor changeover physically on the shop floor 2–3 times; verify documents at desk twice a day.
Initiate corrective actions for QA findings and ensure continuous quality improvement.
Ensure 100% on-time delivery through close coordination with Marketing, Production & Support Teams.
Collect fabric & material updates from MCD to guarantee timely issuance to production lines.
Track running order production status to ensure timely shipments.
Communicate & implement company policies to maintain sound industrial relations and workplace safety.
Ensure optimum utilization of manpower, machines, and resources to achieve buyer delivery requirements.
Lead training & development initiatives to enhance productivity and maintain quality.
Take measures to minimize absenteeism and worker migration.
Review daily production variance reports and take corrective action with PM/APM to reduce unfavorable variances.
Reset production targets based on actual production performance and situations.
Conduct weekly/bi-weekly meetings with APM, Technicians & Support Departments to strengthen teamwork and tackle challenges proactively.
Contribute to daily/weekly inspection schedules and production monitoring.
Manage manpower planning, meetings, and other departmental issues efficiently.
