Job Responsibilities:
∎ To implement and monitor the Code of Conduct of different Buyers & Audit at Factory.
∎ Preparing organizing and managing factory audits as per buyer requirements including various social, ethical environmental, technical, supply chain security audits.
∎ To ensure all necessary documents & records to conduct the different social compliance & CTPAT audit like amfori BSCI, WRAP, SEDEX, WCA, Step by OEKO-TEX, SLCP, 90 days documents for WALMART, Next, Primark, Mark-H Buyer COC, SCS & SCAN as well as prepare & up to date all the documentation for the Process & Procedure accordingly.
∎ To ensure all necessary documents & records to conduct the different environmental compliance audit like HIGG INDEX FEM verification, BEPI, as well as prepare & up to date all the documentation for the Process & Procedure accordingly.
∎ To ensure all necessary documents & records to conduct the different product label certification audit like GOTS, OCS, GRS & RCS, as well as prepare & up to date all the documentation for the Process & Procedure accordingly.
∎ To support the Compliance Team, solve technical problems and help them to prepare the Preventive Action Plan (PAP) & Corrective Action Plan (CAP) based on External, Internal, First party & third party any compliance audit.
∎ To support the Quality Assurance Team, solve technical problems and help them to prepare the Preventive Action Plan (PAP) & Corrective Action Plan (CAP) based on any technical audit.
∎ To handle ACCORD/RSC and Alliance audit independently. (Structural Safety, Fire and Electrical Safety)
∎ Carry out regular Internal Audit at Factories in a certain interval based on Company COC and other Audit COC ( amfori BSCI COC, WRAP COC, ETI Code etc.), put up recommendations, follow-up for implementation, and provide reports to higher up.
∎ To follow-up and monitor all the Legal License/Govt. Approval/Permission, Legal Certifications, Compliance Certifications of Factory regarding their expiration & validity and take necessary action proactively to update the License & Certifications accordingly.
∎ Disseminate written policies and procedures related to compliance activities.
∎ To take all necessary initiative to implement the Bangladesh Labor Act 2006 (with all amendment) at Factory.
∎ To maintain liaison with the Govt. Approval Bodies, Different Ministries (i.e., DIFE, Ministry of Labor & Employment etc.), BGMEA, BKMEA, Labor Court, Fire Service & Civil Defense, Local Police Station, Industrial Police etc.
∎ To maintain liaison with Buyers, Compliance Auditor/Third Party Auditors/Compliance Managers of different Buyers and factories.
∎ Correspondents with buyers and various compliance monitoring teams to get update for any changes.
∎ To provide employee training on compliance related topics, policy & procedures to related persons regularly.
∎ To generate standard Health, Safety and Security System complying different Laws, regulations & COC.
∎ To ensure Fire Drill & Emergency Evacuation program, Chemical Spillage Drill regularly and keep record accordingly.
∎ To perform other duties & tasks as per management direction with a view to maintain the factories as fully compliant establishments.
