∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)
∎ Honors/Masters in Horticulture

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 7 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Scientific Plant selection (Tree selection should be done in such a way that there is no problem in fish farming), according to season based, Long term and sort term Plantation program.
∎ Overseeing the cultivation and maintenance of plants and crops in organic process.
∎ Managing weed/pest/disease control programs by biological way.
∎ Ensuring compliance with international regulations and legislation, e.g. organic cultivation requirements
∎ Organizing horticultural trials on Plants, vegetables, seeds etc.
∎ Analyzing horticultural yields, operational costs and financial returns
∎ Maintaining financial and administrative records
∎ Supervising and training staff
∎ Negotiating contracts with buyers and suppliers
∎ Liaising with colleagues, local DAE (Department of Agriculture Extension), Govt. and Private nursery and horticulture center officials, customers, professional groups etc.
∎ Ensuring that deadlines and quality standards are met within set budgets
∎ Report writing (Monthly and Yearly)

Additional Requirements:
∎ In-dept knowledge in Plantation / Farming.
∎ Experience in Relevant Field.
