∎ Experience:
∎ 5–7 years of experience in market research/social research or a similar role, with at least 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
∎ Proven expertise in managing field operations for market research projects.
Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Plan and organize field research activities, including surveys, focus groups, and on-site observations.
∎ Develop and manage fieldwork schedules, ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.· Allocate and manage resources, including field staff, budgets, and equipment.
∎ Recruit, train, and supervise field staff (interviewers, moderators, and data collectors).
∎ Provide regular guidance and support to ensure field teams adhere to research protocols and quality standards.
∎ Monitor performance and resolve any issues arising during fieldwork.
∎ Ensure data collection processes are accurate, reliable, and consistent with project goals.
∎ Conduct spot checks, audits, and reviews of fieldwork to uphold data integrity.
∎ Develop and implement corrective measures to address fieldwork challenges or deviations.
∎ Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and stakeholders to align field operations with research objectives.
∎ Provide detailed progress reports, insights, and updates to senior management.
∎ Compile, validate, and ensure the timely delivery of field data to the analysis team.
∎ Manage logistics, including travel arrangements, permissions, and on-ground operational needs.
∎ Ensure all field activities comply with company policies, local regulations, and ethical research standards.
∎ Handle any field-related emergencies or challenges promptly and effectively.
∎ Strong IT skills are essential for this role, with strong competencies in Microsoft Packages, with statistical packages and qualitative data research are an added advantage.
∎ Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and final Reports & event reports
∎ Proven capacity to maintain strict confidentiality in all aspects of work.
