Responsibilities & Context:

SQ Group Of Companies produces all types of Electrical Wire & Cables, Transformers, Energy Saving Lights, Accessories, Fan, Concrete & Wooden utility poles and also the leading importer of other electrical accessories. We are looking for young and energetic R&D professionals for its sister concern SQ Electricals Ltd. who will be able ensure end product quality with own skill and capabilities efficiently and effectively, he must have to be and does have Leadership Skill, Organization Skill and Problem Solving skill along with Excellent communication skills, a sense of urgency, in depth knowledge in respective field which are extremely useful to succeed in this task.

  • Participate in R&D and manufacturing activities related to switch and socket products.

  • Prepare and maintain technical support documents including:

    • Product specifications

    • Engineering drawings

    • Technical reports

    • Project schedules & timelines

    • Final product credentials

  • Review technical and engineering specifications for products, components, and raw materials.

  • Develop and update engineering drawings according to approved specifications and client requirements.

  • Ensure product and component designs are technically compliant, cost-effective, and aligned with value engineering objectives.

  • Participate in product design reviews including prototypes, drawings, reports, and schedules.

  • Implement engineering changes related to products, components, manufacturing methods, and technical documentation.

  • Develop and maintain product structure/tree throughout manufacturing and assembly processes.

  • Analyze components, raw materials, suppliers, and related costs to support product development decisions.

  • Initiate and monitor Pilot Run activities to ensure product compliance with approved specifications.

  • Follow up on 1st Lot production implementation and conduct corrective actions where necessary.

  • Technical knowledge in electrical accessories

  • Plastic & metal production process knowledge

  • Engineering drawing interpretation

  • SAP process management

  • Microsoft Office applications

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Teamwork and communication skills
