Experience:
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel)
Strong practical knowledge of Export Documentation
Knowledge of Bangladesh Customs regulations
Experience with an ERP system is a plus
Experience in ceramics / glassware industry will get preferance.
Export Logistics and Operations
Documentation Management: Prepare, review and manage all necessary documents, including proforma invoices (PI), commercial invoices, packing lists, Bills of Lading (B/L) or Air Way Bills (AWB), Certificates of Origin (COO), and customs declarations.
Shipment Coordination: Coordinate effectively with the production, warehouse, and logistic teams to ensure production completion, quality check, and timely staffing / loading of glassware cargo.
Freight Management: Liaising with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and C&F (Clearing and Forwarding) agents to arrange competitive shipping rates, booking schedules, and transportation of goods.
LC and Banking: Process Letter of Credits (L/C) documents and coordinate with banks for negotiation and realization of export proceeds, ensuring all terms and conditions are strictly meet.
Compliance and Regulatory Adherence:
Regulatory Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to all Bangladeshi export policies, customs regulations, and international trade laws, including incoterms.
Quality Control: Collaborate closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure that all exported glassware meets the buyer’s specifications and international quality standards.
Troubleshooting: Address and resolve any issues or discrepencies that arise during shipping, customs clearance, and documentation promptly.
Sales Support and Client Management:
Order Processing: Manage end to end processing of export orders from receipt to final shipment.
Client Communication: Maintain excellent communication with international buyers, taking updates on order status, shipment tracking, and responding to inquiries promptly.
Market Support: Assist the sales team in market research, data anlysis, and developing strategies to penetrate new export markets for glassware products.
Reporting and Administration:
Record Keeping: Maintain meticulous records of all export transactions, shipment data, and communication logs.
Reporting: Generate periodic reports on export volumes, sales performance, logistic costs, and documentation status for senior management.
ERP / Software: Utilize the company’s ERP or relevant software for efficient data management and process flow.
