- Possess comprehensive knowledge in Corporate/SME/Retail Business.
- Fluency with credit appraisal, financial statement analysis, borrower selection and project evaluation.
- Proficiency in regulatory requirements and NBFI rules & regulations.
- Strong analytical and documentation abilities.
- Proficiency in clear and concise written and verbal communication, both in Bangla and English.
- At least 5-6 years of experience in a reputable bank or financial institution.
Responsibilities & Context:
Job Description / Responsibility
- Conduct examination of Credit applications and Credit memoranda, providing independent risk assessments by analyzing risks and identifying, describing, and estimating Credit risks associated with proposals.
- Verify Credit Risk Grading and other credit analysis tools for credit proposals, along with Credit Information Bureau reports.
- Analyze borrower profiles, account transactions, and loan purposes.
- Ensure adherence to internal credit policies, regulatory circulars/guidelines, Product Program Guidelines, and other external regulatory requirements related to loan approval.
- Conduct physical visits to clients` business premises to assess strengths and weaknesses of their businesses.
- Evaluate the quality, completeness, and correctness of data.
- Recommend credit proposals for approval or rejection with appropriate terms and conditions such as loan amount, tenure, and interest rate.
- Assist in the preparation of various policies, guidelines, and reports as per internal and external requirements.
- Handle related regulatory reporting tasks.
- Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Management.
