Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, Accounting or Business related field
∎ Master will be plus.
∎ Must complete Chartered Accountancy Course "CA (CC)" under ICAB (Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh).
∎ "Executive Level- I or II" of Chartered Secretary from ICSB (Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh) will favorable.
∎ Preferred Professional Certification: Chartered Accountancy,Chartered Secretary
∎ Skills Required: Accounting and Finance, Audit, Excise, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)

∎ At least 2 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Accounting and Finance, Audit, Company Secretary, Customs and Excise, Income Tax, VAT
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Group of Companies

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Apply due diligence to ensure compliance of all statutory issues.
∎ Advise the board and management committees on all statutory and constitutional requirements to ensure that business is conducted in proper and effective manner.
∎ Accomplish the targets fixed by the Board from time to time.
∎ Ensure maintenance of good corporate governance through monitoring, advice and reporting.
∎ Follow up with the Corporate and legal professionals of the companies under Sheba Group.
∎ Attend in the court to assist the professionals.
∎ Prepare and accumulate the documents for submission in the court as required to be submitted for and behalf of the companies under Sheba Group.
∎ Ensure all board members are properly constituted and provided with clear terms of reference.
∎ Assist in preparation of contracts and agreements as may be required which may also include liaison with legal counsel.
∎ Keep under close review of all legislative, regulatory and corporate governance developments that might affect the Company's operations, and to ensure the Board is fully briefed on these and that it has regard to them when taking decisions.
∎ Maintain records properly of AGM, EGM, Board Meetings, Committee Meetings, resolutions, documents regarding Company affairs and preparation and maintenance of meeting minutes and all business letters, notices and other official publications issued by Company Secretariat.
∎ Ensure that the Company's activities are regularly complying with its Memorandum and Articles of Association, Companies Act 1994, Rules & Regulations of Securities and Exchange Commission and other related Laws.
∎ Organize and maintain database of the company's contracts and agreements.
∎ Ensure the safe custody and proper use of any Company's documents and seals.
∎ Ensure compliance to rules and regulations of Income Tax, VAT, Customs, Securities & Exchange Commission, Bangladesh Bank, BIDA and Partnership Act etc.
∎ Ensure effective Tax and VAT planning within current legislation and preparation and Submission of companies' VAT return, Bangladesh Bank Return and Income Tax return and also the Director's Returns.
∎ Ensure regulatory compliance in VAT, TAX and Corporate affairs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 26 to 35 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ High proficiency in financial modeling techniques.
∎ Strong analytical and data gathering skills.
∎ Excellent communication skills in Bangla & English, both verbally and in writing.
∎ Proven track record driving multiple streams of work - from brief through creative development to execution.
∎ Ability to extract insights from multiple data sources, and make informed, strategic decisions.
∎ Must have good knowledge in Income Tax Ordinance 1984, Companies Act, 1994, Securities and Exchange Commission Act, Ordinance, Rules and Regulations, Custom Excise and VAT law, Insurance Law, Partnership Act and other Business laws.
∎ Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and familiarity with using social media in a professional context.
∎ Willing to travel sometimes.
∎ Acute attention to detail.
∎ Strong organizational, prioritizing, and multitasking skills.
∎ Strong understanding of the need for discretion in handling sensitive information and the judgment to know what can/must be shared and with whom, and what should not.
∎ Confident working independently, able to get to grips with new areas of work enthusiastically and on own initiative and to priorities competing and complex demands.
∎ Proven ability to make good decisions in a fast-moving environment.
∎ Ability to take initiative, prioritize tasks, solutions-orientated.
∎ Should be positive in attitude, result-oriented & ready to take challenges.
∎ Good team player skill, execution skill, challenges encountering attitude and ability to manage.
