∎ BBA/MBA in any discipline from any reputed university.
∎ Strong communication skills in English (both written and verbal).
∎ Experience in import-export operations is highly desirable, particularly in sectors such as oil, petrochemicals, or lubricants.
∎ Excellent interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team.l
∎ Well-groomed, smart, and energetic personality.
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills.
∎ High attention to detail and accuracy.
∎ Proven experience as an Accounts Executive (for Accounts Department roles).
∎ In-depth knowledge of VAT, Tax rules, financial regulations, and audits.
∎ Advanced proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook).
∎ Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices.
∎ Familiarity with local tax laws and compliance regulations.
∎ Ability to assist with Tax & VAT-related tasks.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Manage all commercial activities, including L/C opening, amendments, TT, IP, acceptance, and payments.
∎ Follow up with banks, suppliers, and shipping agents regarding import consignments.
∎ Ensure smooth logistics for import and export, including customs clearance and cargo delivery.
∎ Maintain communication with banks regarding L/Cs, UPAS rates, and import/export transactions.
∎ Handle payment processes with suppliers through banking channels.
∎ Negotiate with C&F agents, shipping lines, and freight forwarders.
∎ Manage customs clearance efficiently through the ports.
∎ Prepare and maintain export documentation, including L/C, sales contracts, commercial invoices, packing lists, and shipping documents.
∎ Ensure timely submission of documents such as BL, GSP, CO, SAFTA, and other certificates.
∎ Follow up on goods handover with custom documents, vessel/flight schedules, and stuffing arrangements.
∎ Monitor order status, shipment planning, and export logistics.
∎ Coordinate with buyers to ensure smooth delivery and payment collection.
∎ Ensure compliance with tax, VAT, and customs regulations.
∎ Manage visa, passport, work permits, and security clearance for employees.
∎ Oversee issuance of required trade certificates from EPB and other regulatory bodies.
∎ Manage payments of agents, depots, and survey departments.
∎ Handle calculations for damages, demurrage, and take corrective actions
∎ Maintain records of commercial transactions and ensure compliance with regulations.
∎ Report daily payment statuses and logistics updates to management.
∎ Coordinate with relevant authorities like BIDA, BGMEA, Chamber, and Customs.
∎ Assist management with other assigned commercial tasks.
∎ Any other task given assigned by management.
