Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Accounts/Financial Department Responsibilities:
∎ Prepare and maintain monthly supplier payments, reports, and budgets.
∎ Monitor ERP system for financial transactions and process improvements.
∎ Ensure monthly account closing and financial reporting to management.
∎ Process transactions related to accounts payable and receivable.
∎ Manage party-wise ledgers, ensuring timely collection and payments.
∎ Monitor and control accounting ledgers, expenses, and inventory levels.
∎ Ensure proper compliance with tax, VAT, and customs regulations.
∎ Prepare and submit financial reports to regulatory authorities.
∎ Manage financial documentation related to tax, audits, and legal compliance.
∎ Handle petty cash and ensure adequate liquidity for operations.
∎ Manage cash flow and follow up on cash forecasts.
∎ Tax and VAT Compliance: Ensure timely and accurate VAT returns and assist with income tax filings in compliance with local tax regulations.
∎ Monitor and maintain records of tax-related transactions, ensuring adherence to all applicable tax laws.
∎ Monitor and control store documentation procedures to prevent discrepancies.
∎ Assist in audits and financial reviews.
∎ Supervise team members to ensure timely completion of accounting tasks.
∎ Ensure proper financial controls and risk management.
∎ Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards.
∎ Provide financial insights for strategic decision-making.
∎ Perform any other financial tasks assigned by management.
