∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Sweater Industry
∎ Having sound knowledge of BEPZA and Customs Bond rules & regulations etc.
∎ Must have sufficient knowledge in import, international business, customs clearing & forwarding. Should be able to follow up on tasks proactively and effectively. Should have Good communication skills in English (Written / Verbal).Should be willing to work for additional hours if it is required to finish the assigned responsibility. Should have good interpersonal skills and be capable of working both independently and collectively. Should have a keen sense of punctuality along with ethical and professional responsibility.
∎ At least 10 years' experience of handling Customs & Bond in a 100% Export Oriented oven Garments Industry.
∎ Applicant should have experience of commercial work in oven Garments Industry.
∎ Strong communication skill in English is required for both speaking & writing.
∎ Should have knowledge of the customs & International Trade rules.
∎ Should have good knowledge of Bank activities, rules & regulations related to import/export.
∎ Having a sound knowledge of Clearing & Forwarding (C&F), Customs Bond rules & regulations etc.
∎ Should have ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To prepare, handle, and follow up on the LC, TT, and all import-related documents. Coordinate with Govt. Officials, BOI, C&F Agents, Banks, BEPZA, Custom House and EPZ Customs, Freight Forwarders, Transport for the execution of Import purposes, etc. HS Code checking of Proforma invoice for Garments Machinery import under SRO benefits and smooth clearance process from Customs.
∎ To ensure PI terms and conditions for back-to-back LC & Checking LC clauses with supplier.
∎ Prepare necessary documents for foreign LC, back-to-back LC, TT, sales Contract, DP, and follow up with bank.
∎ To handle & follow the LC procedure of Machinery & Accessories.
∎ Ensure all logistics activities related to Export.
∎ Follow up the LC and another payment process with the supplier through the bank to complete the whole process within the stipulated time frame.
∎ Maintaining all files and registers of related work.
∎ Manage financial and currency processes and transactions by policy and law, and optimize cost-effectiveness of activities.
∎ Any other task assigned by the Management.
∎ Reports to the management and take part to decision making for different matters.
∎ Renewal of all Business license on time like Trade License, IRC, ERC, Membership Certificate etc.
∎ All kind of Bond activities: (Applying for renewal of bond license, Yearly Audit, Lien Bank Addition, In-bond, Ex-bond, UP, UD, New Machine Addition and Capacity Increase) etc.
∎ To prepare, handle, and follow up on the LC, TT, and all import-related documents. Coordinate with Govt.
