Requirements:
Skills Required: ArcGIS,GIS,GIS/ Mapping,GIS/ Remote Sensing,QGIS,UV mapping
Additional Requirements:
1. Strong working knowledge of ArcGIS/QGIS/ArcGIS Pro for spatial data processing and map layout preparation.
2. Ability to create lucrative thematic GIS maps and perform geospatial data analysis.
3. Basic to intermediate skills in MS Excel (data cleaning, formatting, pivot tables preferable).
4. Basic knowledge of MS Word for reporting and documentation.
5. Understanding of coordinate systems, projections, shapefiles, geodatabases, and spatial data formats.
6. Experience in digitizing features, geometry editing, and attribute updates.
7. Ability to work with large datasets with accuracy and attention to detail.
8. Good communication and reporting skills.
9. Ability to meet deadlines and follow project instructions.
10. Willingness to learn new GIS techniques and tools quickly.
11. Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively within a project team.
Responsibilities & Context:
- Process and analyze spatial data using ArcGIS/QGIS/ArcGIS Pro.
- Prepare thematic maps, layouts, and GIS visuals for projects.
- Digitize features, edit geometry, and update attribute data.
- Manage and clean large datasets in MS Excel and integrate them with GIS.
- Maintain proper documentation, metadata, and organized GIS file structures.
- Assist project teams with GIS support, mapping, and report preparation.
- Ensure accuracy of spatial data through quality checks and field verification.
- Learn new GIS tools and techniques as required and support team tasks as assigned.
