Experience:
Strong technical knowledge of knit fabrics (single jersey, rib, interlock, fleece, pique, engineered fabrics, etc.)
Good understanding of yarn types, count, blends, special washes, sustainable fabrics.
Target-oriented, proactive, and able to work under pressure.
Strong problem-solver with attention to detail.
Customer-focused mindset with a positive attitude.
Develop and execute fabric marketing strategies to achieve revenue and business growth targets.
Identify and build relationships with new buyers, brands, and local/foreign fabric suppliers.
Handle all fabric-related queries from buyers, ensuring timely support, sampling, and technical clarification.
Present fabric collections, innovation ideas, and seasonal trend boards to existing and potential customers.
Lead new fabric development based on customer demand, market trends, and competitor analysis.
Work closely with R&D, knitting, dyeing, and finishing teams to ensure innovative fabric solutions.
Ensure quality, hand feel, GSM, color fastness, shrinkage, and all technical parameters meet buyer requirements.
Prepare accurate pricing for knit fabrics by analyzing yarn price, knitting cost, dyeing/finishing cost, and overheads.
Negotiate price, lead time, and capacity with suppliers and subcontractors.
Coordinate with internal production teams (Knitting, Dyeing, Finishing, QC) to ensure timely sample delivery and bulk execution.
Monitor production status and ensure on-time delivery for sampling and bulk orders.
Follow up on any technical or quality issues with the production team.
Prepare weekly and monthly fabric marketing performance reports.
Analyze sales trends, customer feedback, and market information.
Lead and mentor the fabric marketing team for overall performance improvement.
