• Minimum 12–15 years in a knit composite factory, with at least 5 years in managerial or AGM-level role.

• Experience in both garments (sewing floor) and dyeing/finishing utilities.

• Strong leadership and analytical skills.

• In-depth knowledge of industrial electrical systems, PLCs, VFDs, and automation.

• Hands-on experience with utility plants (boiler, compressor, generator, chiller).

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making ability.

• Strong communication and coordination skills.

To lead and manage all mechanical, electrical, and utility operations ensuring uninterrupted production through effective preventive and corrective maintenance, optimal energy management, and technical innovation.

1. Strategic & Operational Leadership

• Lead the Electro-Mecha (Maintenance & Electrical) team to ensure smooth operation of garments, dyeing, finishing, boiler, compressor, and utility sections.

• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for all production and utility machines.

• Coordinate with production heads to minimize machine downtime and increase operational efficiency.

2. Technical & Maintenance Management

• Ensure proper maintenance and troubleshooting of all mechanical and electrical equipment including knitting, dyeing, finishing, and sewing machines.

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and upgrading of new machinery and automation systems.

• Ensure energy-efficient operation of generators, chillers, boilers, ETP, WTP, and air compressors.

3. Safety & Compliance

• Ensure all electrical and mechanical systems comply with fire, electrical, and environmental safety standards (Accord/Alliance, RSC, etc.).

• Implement and monitor lock-out/tag-out, EHS protocols, and emergency response plans.

4. Team Management

• Supervise a team of engineers, technicians, and electricians; ensure skill development through technical training and performance monitoring.

• Maintain harmony and coordination among sub-departments (mechanical, electrical, utility, and ETP).

5. Budgeting & Reporting

• Prepare annual maintenance budgets, capex plans, and energy-saving initiatives.

• Analyze downtime data, prepare monthly reports, and recommend improvements.

6. Coordination & Continuous Improvement

• Coordinate with external service providers, machine suppliers, and energy auditors.

• Drive continuous improvement projects to reduce energy cost and enhance machine efficiency.
