∎ Job Summary:
∎ This position is to develop and implement strategies to increase People`s Oriented Program Implementation (POPI) visibility among external audiences, the media, non-government and government agencies, and the others relevant community. The AD (Communications and documentation) will collect data, reviews and coordinates the information and materials of all projects/programmes for documentation and communication. S/he will also be responsible for overall planning, designing and publishing of promotional items of achievements including annual reports, booklet, brochure and fliers. The AD will have to particularly oversee the social media & platforms of the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Collect and compile information from project/programme and prepare quarterly/ annual report/publicity materials for visibility.
∎ Document best practices and most significant success stories of programmes and disseminate through appropriate organizational and public information channels (reports, press releases etc);
∎ Developing IEC, BCC materials in line with programme/project needs.
∎ Design concept and planning to develop organization profile, booklet, brochure and fliers.
∎ Liaison and maintain communication with development partners, GO-NGO other stakeholders and different media for dissemination of organizational information.
∎ Maintain and update POPI's website, Facebook, twitter and other networking platforms.
∎ Undertake periodical field visit and publish findings in newsletters/website.
∎ Editing and monitoring of periodicals and all kinds of POPI publications.
∎ Train, POPI staff for documentation and communications, writing of successful case studies, best practices and other occasional reports;
∎ Prepare and implement effective and efficient communication strategies for the organization.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Excellent fluency in both spoken and written English and Bangla languages with report writing skills.
∎ Having 2/3 years relevant experience with reputed Non-Government Organization (NGO) in the field of documentation and communication.
∎ Strong knowledge on development issues, familiarity with public/private/NGO-CBO sectors' operation in Bangladesh.
∎ Must be well versed in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, desktop publication packages, internet and social media; photography and basic photo and video editing skills is desirable.
∎ Proven networking, team building, organizational and communication skills.
Salary:
∎ Grand Pay: BDT.73,625/-, Net Pay: BDT. 67,795/- (included all allowances)
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ After Probationary period s/he will be eligible for city allowance, yearly increment, three annual festival bonuses, contributory provident fund, gratuity and other facilities as per organization's policy.
