Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance, Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Accounting
∎ Partly CA qualified is essential.
∎ Certification in Customs, VAT & Income Tax Management will be a plus.
∎ Skills Required: Communication, Finance/ Accounts, Negotiation Skills

Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 7 year(s)
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s): Regulatory Affairs, Tax (VAT/ Customs Duty/ Income Tax)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Assist the Head of VAT in overseeing VAT compliance for the company.
∎ Review and analyze VAT transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
∎ Prepare and submit VAT returns, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
∎ Conduct regular VAT reconciliations and assist with VAT audits, ensuring compliance with audit requirements.
∎ Stay updated on changes in VAT laws and regulations and assess their impact on the company's operations.
∎ Provide guidance and support to internal stakeholders on VAT matters, including advising on VAT implications of business decisions.
∎ Collaborate with the finance, accounting, and tax teams to ensure accurate VAT accounting and reporting.
∎ Assist in implementing and maintaining effective VAT control processes and procedures.
∎ Support the department head in various VAT-related projects, such as system implementations and process improvements.
∎ Maintain good relationships with external stakeholders, including tax authorities and consultants.
