Skills Required:

Additional Requirements:
  • 4-5 years of experience in retail sales

  • Prior experience as Area Manager/Territory Manager / Sales Manager in retail is highly preferred.

  • In depth Knowledge about sales, customer service, outlet route & area.

  • Experience in consumer goods sales will get preference.

  • Excellent communication skill.

  • Ability to work under pressure with a positive, result-oriented mindset.

  • Possess leadership qualities, team player and result-oriented.

  • Must be fluent in both Bangla and English.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) for reporting and analysis.

  • Technology-driven mindset with good understanding of E-commerce and digital sales tools.

Job Context:

The Area Manager - Sales & Business Development (Industrial) will be responsible for driving retail sales perfor-mance, expanding market coverage, managing field sales teams and ensuring profitable growth within the assigned area.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Achieve monthly and yearly retail sales targets for the assigned area.

  • Plan and execute retail sales strategies, promotions and outlet expansion initiatives

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors and key trade partners.

  • Ensure proper route planning, outlet coverage and market execution.

  • Monitor, guide and motivate the field sales team to improve productivity and performance.

  • Expand customer base and ensure a sustainable active retail outlet network.

  • Analyze sales data and market trends to identify growth opportunities.

  • Ensure proper implementation of company policies, pricing and merchandising standards.

  • Coordinate with internal teams (operations, supply chain and finance) for smooth order fulfillment.
