∎ The position is based in remote, climate-vulnerable areas, including hilly and hard-to-reach regions in Bangladesh.
∎ 4 years of overall experiences in agriculture sector including Climate Adaptive Agriculture, livelihood and climate change adaptation.
∎ Team management and people management skills
∎ Specific Educational Qualification: Graduates/ Masters
∎ Concentration/Major: Any subject related on Agriculture (Agronomy/Horticulture/ Argo-Forestry/Plant Pathology and others Agriculture related subject)

∎ • Knowledge on Agriculture, disaster management, environment and climate change is preferred

∎ • Good oral and written communication skills in Bangla is a must and English has to be satisfactory
∎ • Computer proficiency: MS Word, Excel, internet browsing and emailing
∎ COMPETENCIES:
∎ • Capacity to work independently at the field level with minimum guidance
∎ • Maintain effectiveness, integrity, honesty and inclusiveness


Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Ensure the safety of Programme Participants, people who come into contact with the organisation and team members from any harm, abuse, neglect, harassment and exploitation including sexual exploitation and abuse (SEA) to achieve the programme's goals of safeguarding implementation. Act as a key source of support, guidance and expertise on safeguarding for establishing a safe working environment.
∎ Practice, promote and endorse the issues of safeguarding policy among team members and ensure the implementation of safeguarding standards in every course of action.
∎ Follow the safeguarding reporting procedure in case any reportable incident takes place and encourage others to do so.

Join us to find the way.JOB PURPOSE:Responsible for overseeing the direct implementation and also record keeping of programme activities in the field. As well as to maintain regular communication and follow up with the programme participants who would benefit from the field level implementations.
∎ KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ • Ensure regular supportive supervision and monitoring of the programme’s field level staff to ensure the programme quality as per requirements
∎ • Be ready to move to field regularly and frequently as per programme need and requirement
∎ • To guide the field level staff and provide on job training as required
∎ • Ability to mobilize communities regarding climate adaptive agriculture
∎ • Ability to provide training at the community level farmers and others stockholders as per requirements
∎ • Supervise implementation of the programme activities at the field to maintain the quality as per project requirements
∎ • Ensure regular documentation of the programme activities
∎ • Regular update of activities status to contribute to MIS database and keep the supervisor/ management informed
∎ • Prepare weekly/monthly field action plan based on observation and submit to respective supervisor/management
∎ • Keep track of financial record of the field activities
∎ • Work in close coordination with other head office and field staff under the Climate Change Programme
