· Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, Lumion, or relevant design software

· Strong understanding of architectural detailing, construction methods, and material specifications

· Must have a full-scope understanding of new materials and material utility being used globally

· Ability to source from China: take client requirements, forward to Chinese suppliers, obtain and evaluate quotations, and manage cross-coordination

· Good project coordination, vendor follow-up, and communication skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with client-facing discipline

Job Context:

A company working across sourcing, supply, and project execution with an in-house architectural approach is seeking a detail-oriented Architect or Engineer. The role demands precision, discipline, and strong design understanding to support project coordination, technical drawings, material specifications, site communication, vendor follow-up, and client-facing execution for residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate must have a full-scope understanding of new materials and material utility currently used globally, as the company sources directly from China.

Job Responsibilities:

· Develop architectural drawings, layouts, and technical documentation

· Coordinate design development from concept to execution

· Prepare working drawings, BOQ, and project specifications

· Manage material specifications with a focus on new and globally available materials (including sourcing from China)

· Obtain and review quotations from Chinese suppliers; alternatively, take client requirements and forward them to Chinese suppliers for quotation

· Perform cross-coordination between clients, internal teams, and Chinese suppliers before project closure

· Conduct site visits, supervise progress, and ensure design alignment

· Follow up with vendors for quality, delivery, and material utility

· Act as a bridge between site teams, consultants, contractors, and vendors

· Handle client-facing communication and execution follow-through

· Assist in project planning, material selection, and execution strategy

· Resolve technical issues during project execution
