Responsibilities & Context:
Meet clients to understand project requirements, budget, and design goals
Prepare architectural concepts, layout plans, and design drawings
Develop detailed drawings, 3D views, and specifications for construction
Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
Coordinate with structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical engineers
Prepare and review project cost estimates and material selections
Assist in obtaining necessary approvals and permits from authorities
Visit construction sites to monitor progress and ensure design accuracy
Resolve design or construction issues during project execution
Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
Ensure quality control, sustainability, and efficient space utilization
Maintain proper documentation and project records
