Responsibilities & Context:
- Meet clients to understand project requirements, budget, and design goals
- Prepare architectural concepts, layout plans, and design drawings
- Develop detailed drawings, 3D views, and specifications for construction
- Ensure designs comply with local building codes, zoning laws, and safety regulations
- Coordinate with structural, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical engineers
- Prepare and review project cost estimates and material selections
- Assist in obtaining necessary approvals and permits from authorities
- Visit construction sites to monitor progress and ensure design accuracy
- Resolve design or construction issues during project execution
- Communicate with contractors, suppliers, and project stakeholders
- Ensure quality control, sustainability, and efficient space utilization
- Maintain proper documentation and project records
