Job Responsibilities:
∎ Aquaculture Advisors are responsible for planning and executing strategies to improve efficiency in the Aquaculture operational management of the organization.
∎ Must be an expert in fisheries and have detailed knowledge in fish farming and management
∎ Should be familiar with fish breeding age and have expertise harvesting in different process of fish farming of various species of fish
∎ Intensive knowledge about water quality, and professional grasp on methods required to test the quality of the water by using water kits.
∎ Making sure hygiene standards are high, to prevent disease spread in the fish farming ponds
∎ Detailed expertise of application of fish food in the farm pond, knowledge on fish food management is also required.
∎ Direct and monitor the condition of spawning of fish, egg incubation, and fry rearing,
∎ Applying knowledge of management and fish culturing techniques to help fish farmers
∎ Monitor and visit at least ten fish farmers a day, and provide them essential tips and advices.
∎ Assist fish farmers in monitoring their ponds and encourage them to order products that are beneficial to the fish farming
∎ Ensure an effective delivery chain, so that the fish spawns ordered from the hatcheries reaches the fish farmers through Kallyanis and Shukormies as per necessity.
∎ Regular monitor to make sure the raw materials ordered by the fish farmers reaches them timely and efficiently.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 1 to 2 years' working experience in aquaculture project
∎ Report progress, including any changes made to plans and production
∎ Delegate technical responsibilities and monitor the progress of projects
∎ Review all work produced by the fish farmers and report it to supervisor
∎ Must have basic computer skills (e.g. how to use zoom meet, email corresponding etc.)
∎ Owning personal vehicle such as motorbike or bicycle

Salary: Tk. 12000 - 15000 (Monthly)
