∎ We are looking for an ANALYST who will join our Start Fund Bangladesh to provide high quality information and analytical support to Start Fund Bangladesh decision making on the allocation of resources.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Under the supervision of COUNTRY MANAGER, START FUND BANGLADESH you will be responsible for:
∎ Preparing for and providing briefing notes within 12-24 hours after an alert be issued. Over time, the national analyst will be able to produce a variety of high quality analysis products at the request of Start Network members.
∎ More precisely your main responsibilities will be:
∎ To prepare for and provide Briefing Notes within 12-14 hours after an alert is issued.
∎ Identify and liaise with sectoral and geographic experts, to expand information sources and analysis.
∎ Support the production of other types of analysis products at the request of the Start Network, including anticipatory analysis.
∎ Support SFB communications strategies.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Have Minimum 4 years work experience in data driven similar role. INGO experience will be an added advantage.
∎ Have excellent IT skills, including working with spreadsheets, word-processing, and presentation software;
∎ Solid understanding of the principles of emergency preparedness, response and early recovery;
∎ Have knowledge of social media communications strategies on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Reliefweb, Youtube, etc;
∎ Basic knowledge of GIS and/or statistical analysis software packages such as SPSS, STATA;
∎ Proven ability to produce high quality written reports;
Salary:
∎ Gross monthly Salary from BDT 1,02,954/
Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ Festival Bonus: 1 month Gross salary every year;
∎ Provident Fund: 7.5% of Basic Salary;
∎ Performance Bonus: from 30 % to 80% of monthly Gross salary per year vary from performants;
∎ End of Contract Benefits - up to 2 months' Gross salary.
∎ Medical coverage: 80% hospitalization coverage medical expenses (max limit BDT 120,000 per year).
∎ PAID LEAVES:
∎ 18 days of paid annual leaves per year;
∎ 10 days of paid casual leaves per year;
∎ 14 days of paid sick leaves per year.
∎ TRAINING OPPORTUNITES:
∎ Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge;
∎ Technical trainings at HQ Paris or regional level (averagely 1 per year);
∎ Participation to external trainings
