Educational Requirements:
∎ Minimum bachelor's degree preferably in Economics, Business studies, Agricultural Sciences or relevant field.
Experience Requirements:
∎ 2 to 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Executing all field level project activities and managing deliverables assigned by Project Coordinator.
∎ Identifying potential women farmers from the cooperative for production, collection and selling of agricultural products to the hub.
∎ Organizing workshops, courtyard meetings, promotional campaigns and other types of engagements for safe agricultural production and marketing under the hub.
∎ Search potential markets as well as buyers (wholesalers/traders/retailers) and link the hub with those buyers.
∎ Oversee the proper transportation and timely shipment of agricultural products from hub to market and market to hub.
∎ Regularly mentoring hub agents to explore growth opportunities and overcome obstacles.
∎ Supporting hub agents to conduct promotional activities, expand household reach and maintain business linkages with agriculture wholesalers/rural entrepreneurs, traders.
∎ Supporting field assessment and monitoring activities to identify gaps.
∎ Maintain liaison with officials from local government, NGOs, Microfinance providers, community associations, schools and relevant institutions to support project goals.
∎ Preparing weekly and monthly activity reports and submitting to Project Coordinator.
∎ Supporting project team in collecting and sharing success stories and impact highlights from the field.
∎ Any other duties assigned by the project leadership team.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 35 years
∎ Experience in agricultural products marketing.
∎ Experience with donor-funded projects a plus.
∎ Strong safety and security awareness when working with women participants.
∎ Sound knowledge of social mobilization, incorporating gender sensitive practices.
∎ Good understanding of MS Office applications.
∎ Good written and oral communication skills in Bengali.
Salary: Tk. 23500 (Monthly)
