Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To contribute to implementing UCEP Bangladesh’s values, vision, mission and goals, and development of future strategy documents as needed.·
∎ Provide technical guidance on sustainable agriculture practices, including crop production, soil health, pest management, and water conservation.
∎ Develop and implement innovative, climate-resilient farming methods tailored to local environmental conditions and community needs.
∎ Train project staff and stakeholders on agriculture best practices and modern technologies to increase crop yield and sustainability.
∎ Collaborate with program teams to design and execute agriculture projects, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines.
∎ Conduct assessments and feasibility studies to identify agricultural needs and opportunities within target communities.
∎ Support the development of training modules, educational materials, and extension services for farmers and other beneficiaries.
∎ Develop and oversee monitoring and evaluation frameworks to measure the impact of agricultural activities.
∎ Collect, analyze, and interpret data related to crop yields, soil quality, water use, and other indicators to assess project progress.
∎ Prepare and present reports on agriculture project outcomes and make recommendations for improvement.
∎ Build partnerships with local communities, government agencies, NGOs, and private sector entities to enhance agricultural project effectiveness.
∎ Conduct capacity-building workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to empower local farmers and stakeholders.
∎ Facilitate the establishment of farmer cooperatives and community groups to improve collaboration and knowledge exchange.
∎ Conduct research on agricultural trends, emerging technologies, and best practices that can be adapted to local contexts.
∎ Pilot innovative farming solutions and assess their viability before scaling up to broader implementation.
∎ Document lessons learned and best practices for future project design and implementation.
∎ To maintain strict confidentiality of information, documents and other internal and external communications.

∎ Nature of Job: Project Staff.
∎ Project Duration: 10 months.
∎ Job Purpose: Ensuring access to safe, equitable, inclusive learning opportunities for adolescents and youth in camps and host communities creating a pathway towards sustainable solutions to self-reliance under the Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (BPRM) project.
∎ The overall goal of this program is to improve the protection, wellbeing and development of adolescents and youth of Rohingya and Host communities through integrated, safe, and accountable delivery of education, child protection, livelihoods, and skills development services.
∎ Job Responsibilities: This position is mainly responsible for supporting the project team to the efficient implementation of TVET program at Upazila level. The job holder will provide technical assistance and capacity building support to the instructors and other relevant staff to project participant selection and maintaining the database for skill development training. S/he will be responsible for supporting the Project Manager to establish the training centres following the center establishment guideline with maintaining agreed criteria. The job holder will be responsible for developing TVET curricula and materials and support the project team in preparing validation and monitoring reports, annual feedback reports, progress reports and the phase out or scale-up plan.
