Educational Requirements:
∎ MS in Horticulture/Agronomy/BSc in Agriculture with relevant experiences
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 3 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop plan of the project interventions and implementation accordingly in time with ensuring quality;
∎ Provide technical support for agriculture related technology extension for safe crop production, preservation, processing and marketing;
∎ Contact and coordination with different agricultural related Service Delivery Institutions-SDIs; Department of Agricultural Extension-DAE, project stakeholders and the targeted farmers and entrepreneurs;
∎ Organize field day, method and result demonstration on safe crop production, preservation, processing and marketing;
∎ Organize and facilitate training, workshop, learning sharing visit;
∎ Asist in establishing market linkage for input and output supply;
∎ Identify learning, best practices and carry out necessary documentation;
∎ Ensure adequate guidance for Assistant Agriculture Officer; and coach & mentor to improve required skills;
∎ Compiling and developing report both in qualitative & quantitative aspects and submit to PKSF and WAVE Foundation.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 42 years
∎ Minimum 3 years' experience in safe crop production, preservation, processing and marketing
∎ Work at office with frequent field visit in different union/village level
∎ Have willingness to work at field level with farmers
∎ Ability to provide technical support for modern agricultural technology
∎ Ability to communicate with relevant stakeholders i.e. line department of Agriculture
∎ Sound background in MS Office and internet browsing
∎ Sound knowledge and skill on using different communication media
∎ Sound networking ability
∎ Hard working and self-motivated
∎ Motor Cycle driving skill with valid driving license.
Salary:
∎ Tk. 45000 - 50000 (Monthly)
∎ Compensation & other benefits: As per the project provision with 02 festival bonus
