Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop plan of the project interventions and implementation accordingly in time with ensuring quality;
∎ Provide technical support for agriculture related technology extension for safe crop production, preservation, processing and marketing;
∎ Contact and coordination with different agricultural related Service Delivery Institutions-SDIs; Department of Agricultural Extension-DAE, project stakeholders and the targeted farmers and entrepreneurs;
∎ Organize field day, method and result demonstration on safe crop production, preservation, processing and marketing;
∎ Organize and facilitate training, workshop, learning sharing visit;
∎ Assist in establishing market linkage for input and output supply;
∎ Identify learning, best practices and carry out necessary documentation;
∎ Ensure adequate guidance for Assistant Agriculture Officer; and coach & mentor to improve required skills;
∎ Compiling and developing report both in qualitative & quantitative aspects and submit to PKSF and WAVE Foundation.

WAVE has organized its activities into 6 programs: 1) Poverty Eradication and Livelihood Development 2) Community Financing and Entrepreneurship Development 3) Agri-Food System Transformation 4) Governance, Rights and Justice 5) Social Development and Youth Empowerment and 6) Climate Justice and Renewable Energy Promotion. The organization invites application from potential candidates for the position of ‘Agriculture Officer’ under Agri-Food System Transformation Program. It is a Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF) supported activities for ‘Safe Crop Production, Preservation, Processing and Marketing’ under Integrated Agricultural Unit.
∎ Job Responsibilities
