Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Science (BSc)/Master of Science (MSc) in Agriculture/Agro technology
∎ Highly experienced Diploma Horticulturalist/Agronomist may also apply
∎ Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University, Bangladesh Agricultural University, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Agricultural University will get preference.
Experience Requirements:
∎ At least 5 year(s)
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Have to work in agricultural farm.
∎ Understand soil, plants, seeds and products to better understand crop need and implement more effective and efficient farming practice.
∎ Crop/Soil sample collection to investigate deficiencies, diseases and other changes.
∎ Assist plant sourcing, testing and selection.
∎ Work with plants through the complete growth process from seeding to harvesting and packaging
∎ Supervise cleaning and maintenance of the farm
∎ Maintain and update project documentation and reports
∎ Work as a team, follow production standards, conduct routine inspections and participate in improvement initiatives.
∎ Manage all aspect of the growing activities such as daily schedules for seeding, pest controlling, harvesting as well as simultaneously troubleshooting on site.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 30 to 45 years
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following area(s):Agronomy, Horticulture, Farm Management, Nursery, plant tissue culture, Project Management
∎ The applicants should have experience in the following business area(s): Agro based farms (incl. Agro Processing/Seed/Genetically Modified Crops).
∎ Knowledge of Agricultural Engineering, Vertical Farming,Aquaponics, Hydroponics etc.
Salary: Tk. 30000 - 60000 (Monthly)
