The AGM Marketing & Merchandising will responsible to business growth by actively hunting and acquiring new customers. The role requires a highly motivated professional who can identify new business opportunities, convert leads into clients, and ensure seamless merchandising execution to support long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
· Proactively identify, target, and secure new customers & buyers
· Able to sourcing, new product development & negotiation and also able to deliver the right products at the right price on time.
· Looking for prospective high-profile customers and bringing in new business that ensures solid profitability and achieve the target set by management.
· Handle buyer independently starting from development to shipment.
· Communicate with buyers regarding sampling, approvals, costing, production status, and shipment schedules.
· Analyze costing, consumption, and margins to ensure competitive pricing while maintaining targeted profitability.
· Establish and maintain relationships with international buyers, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
· Conduct regular meetings and communication with buyers to understand their needs and preferences.
· Collaborate with senior management to align marketing strategies with company goals and objectives.
· Collaborate with product development teams to create products that meet international buyers` expectations and standards.
· Work closely with product development teams to ensure new apparel products meet market demands and are positioned effectively.
· Detail follows up time line of each order with vendors, customers and internal parties to ensure customer satisfaction and on time delivery.
· Develop and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal allocation of resources for maximum impact.
· Conduct effective client presentations, negotiations, and deal closures
· Achieve monthly/quarterly new customer acquisition targets.
· Explore new markets (local & international) for business growth
· Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs
