Responsibilities & Context:

• Install, configure, and maintain Linux and Windows servers.

• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and File Server.

• Configure and maintain VMware, Hyper-V, or Proxmox virtualization platforms.

• Deploy and manage web servers (Apache, Nginx, IIS).

• Administer databases such as MySQL, MariaDB, MSSQL and PostgreSQL.

• Monitor servers and network infrastructure using tools like Zabbix, Prometheus, Grafana, or LibreNMS.

• Implement backup and disaster recovery solutions.

• Configure and troubleshoot VPN, Firewall, VLAN, Routing, and Switching.

• Manage email servers (Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Postfix, etc.).

• Perform server hardening, patch management, and security compliance.

• Manage Docker, Kubernetes, and containerized applications.

• Administer cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).

• Automate routine tasks using Bash, PowerShell, or Ansible.

• Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues.

• Maintain system documentation and operational procedures.
