Job Context:
∎ We are hiring AGM/Manager – Marketing & Merchandising for our highly invested and internationally compliant WOVEN SHIRT / Sweaters factory located in Gazipur area.
∎ The ideal candidates must be honest, have detail aptitude, training ability, Tenacious, problem solving skills & leadership quality of having experience in supervising minimum 6 team members and have practical knowledge of servicing brands like Zara/JCP/Best Sellers /M&S /NEXT/ JCP.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Develop new customers / new territories / everyday look for new opportunities.
∎ Costing confirmation.
∎ Enquiry conversion to Business.
∎ Production booking / Line plan / Production follow up to ensure deliveries.
∎ Drive more FOB business. Convert nominated fabrics into own source
∎ Focus on chunky business from the clients.
∎ Must have practical experience on shirt production process, complexity, testing, risk, barrier to achieve quality standard etc.
∎ Manage team, internal multi department associates & customers.
∎ Look at bulk production in the sewing line and in the finishing/packing area to see are we missing anything. Engage physically to solve problem be it production issues / quality / delivery.
∎ Physically engage on all 2nd / 3rd submission, be it sample / dye lot / Wash / DTM trims etc.
∎ Have to have full knowledge of the TEAM activities. As an example: if production line stopped for 1 minute by your team negligence/overlook you will be answerable.
∎ Weekly review orders status with team and bring all hidden issues / problems to the light.
∎ Sourcing of Raw Materials at sharper prices, counter develop to increase gross margin.
∎ Work closely with inter departments much as harmonized manner i.e. Costing / Audit / Commercial, Finance, Compliance / Admin, R&D, Planning, Production & Quality departments.
∎ Follow up washes / prints / embroidery / all outsource activities.
∎ Understand ethical behavior and business practices, ensure own behavior and the behavior of others is consistent with these standards and aligns with the values of the organization.
∎ Customer centric approach.
∎ Your performance will be measured by customer (how they feel confident) and on-time shipments.
∎ And any others assignment given by the management from time to time.
Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 35 to 50 years
∎ Only males are allowed to apply
∎ Minimum 6-8 years of managerial position experience in a reputed shirt factory.
∎ Excellent command in both verbal and written English.
∎ Able to work under pressure in fast-track working environment.
Salary: Negotiable
