Responsibilities & Context:
∎ Develop, manage, implement, communicate, and maintain a quality plan to ensure the company's Quality Assurance Systems and Policies comply with quality system requirements.
∎ Effectively interact with the Technical, Development, and Production teams to maintain product quality and achieve targets.
∎ Assist technicians in checking patterns/specifications and construction, identifying and resolving production impracticalities promptly, and making final quality decisions according to company standards.
∎ Supervise the handling of sample evaluation and production approval by reviewing measurements, workmanship, fittings, accessories, etc., and providing comments on production.
∎ Monitor QA/QC performance by gathering relevant production data and producing statistical reports for communication with all related departments.
∎ Identify relevant quality-related training needs and deliver training sessions.
∎ Provide quality control seminars and coaching for company trainees.
∎ Oversee each aspect of quality control and product assembly in the factory.
∎ Conduct pre-production meetings and in-line inspections to check quality.
∎ Follow up on pre-final inspections to ensure product quality.
∎ Maintain all necessary documents and quality SOPs.
∎ Ensure all quality and production issues are addressed by auditing and controlling production planning and machine maintenance, as well as proper utilization of MMR.
∎ Approve size set samples.
∎ Provide approvals for print, embroidery, wash, etc., as required by the buying house.
∎ Maintain all discipline and compliance issues within the quality department.
∎ Lead all quality staff and GPQ teams to ensure final product quality.
