Educational Requirements:
∎ Masters in Anthropology, Development Studies, Women and Gender Studies or any others discipline of Social Science with good academic records.

Job Context:
∎ Project overview - ASTHA: Strengthening Access to Multi-sectoral Public Services for GBV Survivors in Bangladesh` projecthas been working since 2018 to ensure access to multi-sectoral services for the most vulnerable women and girls who are at risk or survivors of gender-based violence; and to raise awareness with the community on harmful gender norms and behaviors that perpetuate violence.These four yearlong projects implemented at four districts in Bangladesh- Potuakhali, Jamalpur, Bogura and Cox`s Bazar by Ain o Salish Kendra- ASK with technical support from United Nation Population Fund (UNFPA) and funding from the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands (EKN).
∎ Ain o Salish Kendra (ASK) is currently looking for anAdvocacy and Social Mobilization Expertfor the ASTHA project.
∎ Reportable: Team Leader, ASTHA Project
∎ Job Location: Dhaka with extensive field visit in four working districts

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Maintain effective relationship with relevant multi- sectoral stakeholdersat districts and national level
∎ Establish a close relationship with ministry of women and child affairs at national level and with DWA both district and national level
∎ Support to organize different advocacy meeting, seminar, workshop
∎ Support Local partners staff to enhance capacity of district level CSOs
∎ Provide technical support to Social Mobilization Officers-SMO to enhance their capacity on community mobilization, engaging men and boys, religious leader, journalist etc.
∎ Support SMOs to facilitate/organize different session/ workshop at district and upazila level
∎ Prepare workplan, events report, support PCs to prepare advocacy and mobilization reports
∎ Other responsibilities assign by supervisor.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age at most 50 years
∎ At least 7 years experiences in the following area(s): functional relationship with govt different ministries and departments, organize advocacy meeting, seminar, workshop, preparation of advocacy tools, community mobilization, engaging man and boys to reduce gender-based violence.
∎ The applicants should have experience in the area of NGO sectors and in similar position.
∎ Good relationship and networking with media partners for effective collaborations to meet the organization's objectives
∎ Ability to learn quickly and work both independently and in team environment.
∎ Ability to work under pressure.
∎ Knowledge in building individual and organizational capacity in program implementation.
∎ An understanding of partnership management will be an advantage.
∎ Applicant should have good computer knowledge especially in Microsoft Word, MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.
∎ Excellent spoken and written English language skills and the capacity to produce quality reports independently.
∎ Willingness to frequent travel across the project areas.

Salary:
∎ Consolidated salary 60,000/- BDT
