Job Context:
∎ Dhaka Ahsania Mission (DAM) is one of the leading development organizations in Bangladesh. Health is one of the core sectors of DAM. This sector is running drug treatment and rehabilitation centers and implementing Primary Health Care Program along with its other program like Tobacco Control, communicable and non-communicable diseases prevention, TB control, mental health care and Health Nutrition Voucher Scheme for Poor, Extreme Poor & Socially Excluded People. Urban health care support -Voucher Scheme-a new approach health care promotion, providing health services to Rohingya people living in Bangladesh, USAID Feed the Future Bangladesh Nutrition Activities (BNA) Project. This sector has recently implementing Drug Abuse Resistance and Understanding (DARAU) project and looking for competent and self-motivated individual for the following position.

∎ JOB PURPOSE : To implement "Drug Abuse Resistance and Understanding (DARAU)" project activities and maintain effective and close coordination with policy makers and other stakeholder for the achievement of project objectives.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Advocacy with different stakeholder like Policy Makers, Rajshahi City Corporation and Department of narcotics control.
∎ Organize public campaign at national and local level.
∎ Organize a yearly review meeting with DSCC & DNCC, BROA, Policy makers and relevant stakeholders for implementing TC Law in Cox's Bazar
∎ Follow-up with Police/ Rajshahi City Corporation for incorporate Narcotics Control Law in their training module.
∎ To organize sensitization meetings with the Policy Makers, Rajshahi City Corporation and Department of narcotics control.
∎ Liaison and coordination with govt. officials, media and other stakeholders.
∎ Communication with donor and national and international stakeholders.
∎ Prepare work plans/ interim and annual report/ event reports/budgets for programs and submit to the donor.
∎ Assist to develop IEC/BCC materials.
∎ Other activities given by Director Heath Sector.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Knowledge in Computer Skills, Report Writing, Policy Advocacy/ Substance Use Disorder.
∎ Experience in Project Management/ Advocacy on Substance Use Prevention.

Salary: Tk. 51128 (Monthly)
