Job Context:
∎ Bangladesh Red Crescent Society is looking for suitable candidate for the following position of IFRC and Swedish Red Cross supported Integrated Resilience Program (IRP), Jamalpur:
∎ Duration of contract: Initially one year (Extendable upon satisfactory performance)
∎ Reporting to: Program Manager, IRP & ULO, Jamalpur
∎ Age limit: 35 years (may be relaxed in case of suitable candidate)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure financial management of the IRP program activities through maintaining records of expenditure accounts
∎ Verify bills and vouchers received from the IRP program personnel's in the respective district based on agreed budget
∎ Submit bills and vouchers to the BDRCS NHQ as per the agreed format and timeline
∎ Maintain existing BDRCS policies and procedures while facilitating and monitoring expenditures for the IRP activities in the respective districts
∎ Prepare monthly financial expenditure reports and cash request/forecast for the IRP activities
∎ Visit communities to support in relevant activities of IRP program as per the Plan of Action
∎ Provide necessary administrative support to the IRP program team
∎ Ensure salary payment to staffs and honorarium to community organizers, consultants, RCY volunteers and others involved in the IRP program as approved
∎ Monitor procurement of goods and services necessary for the program in accordance to the existing financial policy and procedures
∎ Assist IRP team in procurement of items following BDRCS polies.
∎ Any other duties as instructed by the Unit Level Officer (ULO), BDRCS District unit

Additional Requirements:
∎ At least 03 (Three) years relevant working experience.
∎ Proficiency on MS Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and Typing (Bangla & English). Fluency in both spoken and written Bengali and English languages.
∎ Experienced on working with NGO's/ INGO's/ Development Organization's at similar position.
∎ Ability to develop financial reports through using of accounting software.
∎ Sound analytical and influencing skills.
∎ Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
∎ In good mental and physical health.
∎ Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, working with different groups and nationalities;
∎ Strong initiative and self-motivated, with a strong commitment to humanitarian principles;
∎ Ability to multi-task and cope with competing demands under tight deadlines, identify priority activities and assignments, adjust priorities as required;
∎ Fluency on written and spoken English and Bengali.
∎ Adhere to the 7 fundamental principles of Red Cross and Red Crescent movement.
∎ Act at all times in accordance with the Code of Conduct.
∎ Able to work in a team and respects opinions of others.
∎ Priority will be given to candidates who demonstrate a high level of motivation and good communication, social, and interpersonal skills.
