Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor in Commerce (B Com); Masters in Commerce (Finance/Accounting) will get preference.

Experience Requirements:
∎ 3 to 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Anandalok Trust is looking for a dynamic Accountant for its Future-oriented and high-quality education in disaster-prone areas of Bangladesh Project supported by Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The Accountant will be responsible to lead the project finance, guide project; prepare budget; operate accounting software, maintain banking, facilitate internal and external audit, prepare financial statements with supervision of Finance Officer.
∎ SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
∎ Ensure coordination, communication and timely submission of periodic financial reports for area project office;
∎ Prepare different types of activity budget;
∎ Prepare and check bull vouchers and book the expenditure in accounting software
∎ Monitor the proper utilization of grant fund at field;
∎ Ensure compliance of the contract with back donors;
∎ Preparation and analysis of project budgets and multiyear budget;
∎ Facilitate internal and external audit for project;
∎ Communicate to Finance Officer and take necessary action in a timely manner;
∎ Prepare periodic forecast and send fund request to Anandalok Trust
∎ Check vouchers of expenses being made at field office;
∎ Operate accounting software (tally software);
∎ Assist the Project team when required;
∎ Make useful suggestions/recommendations to the organization to take necessary actions in regard to minimize the project costs.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Minimum 3 -5 year(s) in any reputed national/ international NGOs.
∎ Skill in financial monitoring and management;
∎ Knowledge on internal control system;
∎ Good knowledge on budget and budgetary control;
∎ Knowledge on rules and regulation of back donor like BMZ;
∎ Computer skill (word processing, spreadsheet or other FMIS);
∎ Good written and oral communication skills in English and Bangla;
∎ Knowledge on general administration;
∎ Ability to plan and optimum use of available resources;
∎ Experience of working in BMZ funded project will be an added advantage.

Salary:
∎ Consolidated 20,000 BDT per month.
