  • Willing to work hard in the remotest area in Bangladesh.

  • Comprehensive knowledge of primary education system in Bangladesh

  • Subject base knowledge in any subject of class 1 to 5

  • Minimum knowledge and good presentation skills to conduct training and meeting

  • Minimum knowledge of local government system in union level

  • Good interpersonal skills as good behavior, respect to others, respect for children etc.

  • Have good oral and written communication in English and Bangla

  • Proficient in computer skills in MS Office Word and Excel

  • Knowledge and working experience with Primary Education;

  • Practical skills in singing and dancing, expertise in any game (football, cricket, local game etc.)

  • Skill in Poems Reciting and good reading

  • Any campaigning for social work

  • Aware and sensitive regarding gender issues and respect for diversity



Responsibilities & Context:
  • Job Nature: Full-time; direct reportable to Project Coordinator.

Job Description / Responsibility:

  • Anandalok Trust is looking for a dynamic Education Supervisor for its “Bangladesh-America Maitree Project” which is funded by USAID and Prime Award BRAC for the Education Program at Rangpur district. The Education Supervisor will be responsible for overall implementation of 20 Government Primary Schools (GPS) with other project activities. program implementation and execution and monitoring program staff, conducting trainings, workshops at school and community level, program documentation and reporting. Coordinating monthly action plans and team meetings, communicating with local authorities, local advocacy responsibilities. Prepare monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, and yearly project implementation Planning.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for overall implementation of 10 GPS with other project activities

  • Manage and supervise staff (5 education support organizer) of the project

  • Provide technical support to teachers, SMCs, ESO, EDC and parents

  • Facilitate the students` performance

  • Facilitate in different meeting, training, dialogue and workshop

  • Prepare monthly action plan, activity report and submit it to supervisor

  • Monitor activities in school

  • Regular visits of the school and household of students

  • Organize community level different events

  • Effective communication with relevant authorities

  • Rapport building with representatives of GOs, NGOs & stakeholders;
