Educational Requirements:
∎ Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) in Accounting Finance
∎ Must be an ITP.
∎ CA CC Partly qualified will be preferred.
∎ Accounting, Cost and Management Accounting, Income Tax and VAT.
∎ Skills Required: Skills Required: Should knowledge on BD VAT Law.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Handling Companies all sorts of VAT & TAX issues independently.
∎ Required comprehensive Knowledge of Tax (Personal and Company), VAT, Company Law, Business Law and Commercial law
∎ Maintaining all VAT related register as per New VAT & SD Act 2012 & Rule 2016 & also has to be keep these record in NBR approved VAT software and own MS-Excel.
∎ Calculation of VAT & TAX
∎ Maintaining of all VAT related works (Example: 4.3, 6.1, 6.2, 6.3, 6.5, 6.10, 7, 9.1 & Others)
∎ Maintaining deduction of VAT & TAX at source and deposit them to the Govt. treasury on time.
∎ Prepare necessary VAT & TAX related documents as per the requirement of concerned government authorities.
∎ Keep Liaison and communication with related authorities.
∎ Maintaining close liaison with Custom Authority, VAT Authority, NBR, Tribunal and Appellate Tribunal.
∎ Formulating company policy for VAT & TAX as per existing law of the country.
∎ Preparation of VAT returns sub forms.
∎ Prepare monthly VAT reconciliation.
∎ Monitoring of VAT payable & treasury deposit.
∎ Liaison and closely work with VAT regulators and solve the barriers related to company VAT issues.
∎ Handling of VAT case related works.
∎ To ensure proper compliance as per Bangladesh VAT Act.
∎ To monitor monthly TDS/VDS deduction from the applicable heads of accounts and deposit to the Govt. exchequer.
∎ Maintain all level of communications with the local custom office, VAT commissioner, division office, circle office, custom intelligence office etc.
∎ Ensure VAT returns are prepared, reviewed and submitted within deadlines to avoid penalties/interest.
∎ Preparing and Filing FDI report.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge on Company Accounts Preparation.
∎ Must have adequate knowledge on Tax Return Preparation and Submission.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Age 28 to 35 years
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ Required comprehensive Knowledge of Tax (Personal and Company), VAT, Company Law, Business Law and Commercial law
∎ Must have knowledge of new Value Added Tax and Supplementary Duty Act, 2012. Must have sound knowledge of IFRS (International Financial Reporting Standard).
