∎ Masters/ Bachelor in Accounting, Business studies from Public/ National University

∎ At least 5 year(s)

Job Responsibilities:
∎ The Accounts Coordinator will be responsible for providing support for preparing / reviewing project budget, tracking grants expenditure, and managing books of accounts.
∎ The incumbent will also be responsible for working with the Plan Barisal Divisional team on budgeting, financial reporting and compliances including internal and external audits.
∎ Reviews vendors' bills and process for payments
∎ Works with project team members for developing and reviewing budget and reporting and compliance related issues.
∎ Prepares monthly and quarterly expenditure report for the team and the divisional office of Plan International Bangladesh.
∎ Provides supports to the project team for managing budget modification and projecting indicative grants funding.
∎ Ensures audit follow-ups and provide inputs in establishing internal controls.
∎ Provides periodical report to the supervisors and identifies and violation or fraudulent activities in the field
∎ Reports to the project's Team Manager and based in Bhola.

Additional Requirements:
∎ 05 years experiences with accounting and financial management
∎ Familiar with soft-ware based accounting system
∎ Has knowledge on VAT/Tax compliance
∎ Strong interpersonal skills and well-developed written and oral communications skills in English and Bengali
∎ Computer literacy, including the ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
∎ Practicing gender and cultural diversity
∎ Able to drive motorcycle and will have valid driving license

Salary: Tk. 38974 (Monthly)
