∎ Mahideb Jubo Somaj Kallayan Somity (MJSKS) is a non-governmental; non-political and non-profitable community development organization. MJSKS is going to implement Community-based Resilience, Women`s Empowerment and Action (CREA) project supported by Manusher Jonno Foundation (MJF). The project will build resilience towards climate change impacts; build resistance against domestic violence and child marriage; empower vulnerable communities especially women and girls, to address the socio-economic effects of climate change.
∎ The 5 outcomes of the project are:
∎ 1. Service providers both public and local government institutions are responsive, and increased access to the quality services of community specially women & girls.
∎ 2. Improved resilience of the most vulnerable char and attached char communities to climate change impact
∎ 3. Empowered women and girls are dealing with inequality, social injustice, violence incidences and participated in voice raising and protests.
∎ 4. Strong voices and decisions are in place against DVAW and child marriage. Decrease in rate of child marriage and DVAW in the selected climate vulnerable areas.
∎ 5. Risks related to poverty will be decreased with increased family income and alternative livelihoods options.
∎ To achieve above mentioned outcomes MJSKS is inviting applications from the interested qualified candidates for the position.
∎ Job Nature: Full-time, up to project period and based on performance.

Job Responsibilities:
∎ Ensure overall administration and financial management.
∎ Execute the financial and procurement guideline of MJSKS and donor.
∎ Closely work with PC to ensure appropriate and transparent use of project fund.
∎ Prepare, review, analysis and finalization of the all project budgets (event base, monthly, quarterly, annual and multi-year).
∎ Keep updated files on all budgetary guidelines and documents.
∎ Prepare the project cash and budget projections for each quarter and review with PC and Deputy Director for final approval and submit to donor.
∎ Monitor and track budget expenditures regularly and brief to PC/Deputy Director/Director.
∎ Assist PC/Deputy Director to respond to the donor regarding finance and admin issues.
∎ Provide administrative and logistic support and oversee procurement activities
∎ Ensure that materials are procured in a timely and qualitative manner as per MJSKS policy.
∎ Review bill for all staff and other expenses related to field trips.
∎ Ensure that the financial, administrative, program and other guidelines are regularly updated.
∎ Ensure to update all the records related to leave files, personnel files, asset register etc.
∎ Maintain Accounts related all books of accounts and daily all kinds of bill voucher
∎ Maintain Cash book, ledger book, cheque issue register, advance register, stock register, petty cash ledger, Bank book etc.
∎ Office documents filling, record keeping and update staff personnel file
∎ Ensuring logistic support for office staff and training, workshop or any other event.
∎ Develop a functional inventory system to keep ago truck record of all resources of the project.
∎ Preparation and submission of accounts related all reporting requirements as monthly, quarterly and annual financial report to donor in a timely manner.
∎ Prepare financial report like; budget variance with appropriate reasons, Receipt & payment statement, trail balance, cash recap by bank account, bank reconciliation statement etc.
∎ Prepare Furniture, Fixture and Equipment (FF&E) status and submit to donor as required.
∎ Ensure the official security and maintenance of official resources.
∎ Provide guidance to the support staff to provide adequate and timely supports
∎ Provide all necessary information to the support staff to ensure office security.

Additional Requirements:
∎ Both males and females are allowed to apply
∎ At least 5 years' working experience in any National/International NGO, experience in similar position, particularly in Women Empowerment, Disaster Management, Climate Change and Resilience project. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Bengali. Computer skill on MS word, excel, power point and virtual communication (zoom, teams etc.). The Accounts & Admin Officer is reportable to the Project Coordinator (PC) and develop a close relationship with the Project Officer, Field Facilitators and central accounts and admin department.
∎ Candidate should have a good knowledge on safe guarding (Child Protection, Gender & Anti sexual harassment) issue. S/he should have valid Motor bike driving license. Candidate should have to mention their personal email address, mobile phone & Skype ID in the CV.

Salary:
∎ Salary: Monthly gross salary BDT. 32,583/-.

Compensation & Other Benefits:
∎ One festival bonus equivalent to 1 month gross salary for each year. 5% salary increment (based on gross salary) in each year as per performance appraisal. Other admissible benefit as per MJSKS policy which is mentioned in the project budget.
