• Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA)

1. Recording daily financial transactions.

2. Maintaining general ledgers and accounting records.

3. Reconciling bank statements and cash balances.

4. Monitoring room revenue, restaurant sales, banquet income, and other hotel revenues.

5. Verifying daily revenue reports from the front office and other departments.

6. Following up on overdue payments.

7. Calculating employee salaries, overtime, and benefits.

8. Assisting in preparing annual budgets.

9. Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

10. Generating profit and loss reports, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.

11. Providing financial reports to hotel management.

12. Monitoring departmental expenses.

13. Controlling food, beverage, housekeeping, and operational costs.

14. Identifying opportunities to reduce unnecessary expenditures.

15. Monitoring inventory of food, beverages, linens, and supplies.

16. Tracking fixed assets and depreciation.

17. Conducting daily revenue audits (night audit review).

18. Reconciling bookings from online travel agencies and travel agents.

19. Monitoring occupancy, average daily rate, and revenue per available room .

20. Knowledge of accounting principles and hotel accounting systems.

21. Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheets.
