MBA in Finance or a Post Graduate degree in a relevant discipline from a reputed institution
A professional qualification such as a Chartered Accountant (CA), CMA, or ACCA will be considered a substantial advantage.
Applicants must possess at least 15 years of progressive professional experience, including a minimum of 10 years in a Senior Management position within the Finance and Accounts division of a reputable organisation inside the development sector.
The successful candidate will demonstrate a proven track record of excellence across Financial Governance, Project/Grant Management, Compliance, Statutory Governance, and Operational & Resource Optimisation.
Technical proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel, alongside an excellent working knowledge of specialised accounting software, MS Office, and Outlook, is strictly required.
Furthermore, this leadership role demands exceptional written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with high-level institutional stakeholders.
The candidate must be a team player with an amiable personality, excellent interpersonal skills, and a strong proficiency in professional networking.

The Centre for Policy Dialogue (CPD), a think tank of global repute, invites applications for the position of Director of Finance and Administration. As a member of the senior management team, the Director will lead CPD`s Finance and Administration Division, overseeing financial management, administration, governance, and compliance. This role requires a strategic and results-oriented leader with strong professional integrity, sound technical expertise, and excellent management and stakeholder engagement skills.
Responsibilities of the position will include:
Provide strategic leadership for CPD`s Finance and Administration Division, ensuring sound financial management, efficient administration, and institutional sustainability.
Oversee all finance, accounting, treasury, procurement, administrative, and asset management functions.
Lead institutional budgeting, financial planning, cash flow management, and long-term financial strategy.
Ensure robust financial governance, internal controls, risk management, and compliance with statutory, donor, and organisational policies.
Oversee the preparation of annual financial statements, project accounts, management reports, and donor financial reports.
Manage corporate tax, VAT, regulatory compliance, and provide guidance on employee tax-related matters.
Liaise with the NGO Affairs Bureau, government agencies, auditors, banks, development partners, and funding organisations.
Lead financial aspects of grant management, including budget development, fund utilisation, financial monitoring, and donor compliance.
Review and negotiate financial terms of contracts, agreements, and partnerships to safeguard CPD`s institutional interests.
Lead, mentor, and strengthen the capacity of the Finance and Administration team while promoting a culture of professionalism, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Support the Executive Director and senior management in strategic decision-making through high-quality financial analysis, reporting, and policy advice.
