Experience:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Management, Commerce, or any other relevant discipline from a recognized university.
Professional qualifications in accounting or finance will be considered an advantage.
Minimum 5 years of professional experience in finance, accounts, administration, or project management.
Experience in managing financial and administrative compliance requirements related to NGO Affairs Bureau (NGOAB), including preparation and submission of FD-6, budget revisions, financial reporting, audit documentation, and other regulatory compliance processes will be highly preferred.
Experience working with NGOs, development projects, donor-funded programs, or childcare-related projects will be preferred.
Sound knowledge of financial management, budgeting, accounting principles, and procurement procedures.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent report writing and documentation skills in both Bangla and English.
Proficiency in MS Office applications, especially Excel and financial reporting tools.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks under deadlines.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Karmojibi Nari (KN) is a women-led national organization committed to promoting the rights, dignity, leadership, and socio-economic empowerment of women workers in Bangladesh. KN is implementing the project 'Childcare Models to Advance Women’s Economic Empowerment', supported by Oxfam Bangladesh.
The project aims to strengthen access to quality childcare services for working women, promote child wellbeing and protection, and contribute to women’s economic empowerment through community-based childcare models and advocacy initiatives.
To support the implementation of this project from April 2026 to December 2027, KN invites applications from qualified and motivated candidates for the position of Finance and Admin Officer to ensure effective financial management and administrative operations of the project.
Job Responsibilities
The Finance and Administration Officer will work under the direct supervision of the Project Coordinator and will be responsible for managing financial, administrative, procurement, and logistics functions of the project in compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management
Maintain accurate financial records, books of accounts, vouchers, and supporting documents.
Prepare payment vouchers, receipts, bills, and financial statements in accordance with organizational procedures.
Monitor project expenditures and ensure budget utilization is aligned with approved budgets.
Process payments, maintain cashbooks, and conduct regular bank reconciliations.
Assist in preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
Support internal and external audit processes and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.
Ensure compliance with donor regulations, financial policies, and statutory requirements.
Administration and Office Management
Oversee day-to-day administrative operations of the project office and childcare center.
Maintain office records, inventories, asset registers, and administrative documentation.
Coordinate office maintenance, utility services, and operational requirements.
Ensure proper filing and archiving of project documents, contracts, and correspondence.
Support staff attendance management, leave records, and personnel documentation.
Procurement and Logistics
Facilitate procurement processes in accordance with organizational procurement policies.
Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and maintain procurement records.
Monitor inventory and ensure proper management of office equipment, furniture, and supplies.
Coordinate logistics arrangements for meetings, workshops, training sessions, and project events.
Compliance and Reporting
Ensure compliance with organizational policies, financial procedures, safeguarding standards, and donor guidelines.
Prepare financial and administrative reports as required by management and donors.
Support project monitoring, budgeting, planning, and reporting processes.
Maintain confidentiality of financial and personnel information.
Coordination and Communication
Coordinate closely with project staff, childcare center personnel, vendors, and service providers.
Provide administrative and financial support for project implementation activities.
Liaise with banks, auditors, suppliers, and relevant stakeholders when required.
Support effective communication and coordination among project team members.
Other Responsibilities
Participate in project meetings and organizational events as required.
Perform any other duties assigned by the Project Coordinator or organizational management.
Job Location
Dhaka, Bangladesh, with frequent travel to project intervention areas as required.
BDT 50,000 per month (inclusive of all admissible benefits).
