Experience:
• MBA in Accounting & Information Systems, Finance & Banking, or equivalent.
• MCom in Accounting.
• Candidates having professional qualifications such as CA (CC), CA (Course Completed), CMA, ACCA (Partly Completed), or equivalent will receive preference.
• 10–15 years of relevant professional experience.
• Prior experience in the Pharmaceutical industry is highly preferred.
• Candidates with proven Accounts & Finance leadership experience in Multinational Companies (MNCs) will also be considered.
• Experience in independently managing the complete Accounts & Finance function of a medium or large organization will be an added advantage.

• Strong knowledge of Financial Accounting, Corporate Finance, Cost Accounting, Budgeting, Financial Reporting, Taxation, VAT, Treasury Management, Working Capital Management, and Internal Controls.
• Sound knowledge of Bangladesh Income Tax, VAT Laws, Companies Act, and other statutory compliance requirements.
• Hands-on experience in preparing Financial Statements, Balance Sheets, Income Statements, Cash Flow Statements, Tax Returns, VAT Returns, and Audit Schedules.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and other business applications.
• Strong analytical, leadership, communication, negotiation, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to lead cross-functional teams, work under pressure, and meet organizational deadlines.
• High level of integrity, accountability, confidentiality, and professional ethics.
Amico Laboratories Limited, a leading Pharmaceutical Company in Bangladesh, is looking for a highly competent, experienced, and result-oriented professional to lead its Accounts & Finance Department. The ideal candidate should have strong leadership capabilities, extensive knowledge of financial management, taxation, VAT, budgeting, ERP-driven accounting systems, and statutory compliance. Candidates with Pharmaceutical industry experience will receive the highest preference. However, candidates with strong Accounts & Finance leadership experience in Multinational Companies (MNCs) will also be considered.
Job Responsibilities
• Lead, supervise, mentor, and develop the Accounts & Finance team to ensure efficient departmental operations.
• Maintain accurate books of accounts in compliance with applicable accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual Financial Statements and Management Reports.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and variance analysis.
• Monitor cash flow, treasury operations, banking activities, receivables, payables, and working capital.
• Ensure proper accounting and reconciliation of inventory, production, distribution, and fixed assets.
• Oversee customer billing, supplier payments, accounting vouchers, reconciliations, and financial documentation.
• Monitor product costing, operational expenses, profitability analysis, and overall financial performance.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of Corporate Income Tax Returns, VAT Returns, and all statutory reports.
• Coordinate and maintain effective relationships with the National Board of Revenue (NBR), commercial banks, auditors, tax consultants, financial institutions, and other regulatory authorities.
• Lead Internal, External, Statutory, and Special Audit activities.
• Strengthen internal financial controls, accounting policies, and compliance procedures.
• Support ERP implementation, system enhancements, digital transformation initiatives, and financial process automation.
• Ensure confidentiality and security of financial information and records.
• Perform any other Accounts & Finance-related responsibilities assigned by Management.
