Responsibilities & Context:

Purpose of this Role

To execute and support the Group Treasury operations by managing daily cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships, financing facilities, investments, and treasury reporting across all Strategic Business Units (SBUs). The role ensures the efficient utilization of financial resources, maintains adequate liquidity, supports working capital management, ensures compliance with regulatory and internal treasury requirements, and contributes to the Group's financial stability and operational effectiveness.

Job Description

  • Monitor and optimize daily cash positions across all group companies.

  • Ensure adequate liquidity to support operational and strategic requirements.

  • Centralize treasury operations where applicable to maximize efficiency.

  • Coordinate treasury-related regulatory reporting.

  • Prepare and monitor short-term and long-term cash flow forecasts.

  • Monitor cash inflows and outflows across business units.

  • Recommend surplus fund deployment and funding strategies.

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with local and international banks.

  • Coordinate opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts.

  • Review banking performance and recommend improvements.

  • Arrange short-term and long-term financing facilities.

  • Manage working capital loans, overdrafts, term loans, and syndicated financing.

  • Prepare financial information required by lenders.

  • Coordinate loan documentation and covenant compliance.

  • Monitor debt maturity profiles and financing costs.

  • Evaluate short-term investment opportunities for surplus funds.

  • Monitor investment returns and liquidity requirements.

  • Ensure compliance with investment policies approved by management.
