∎ Job Context: The 3D Technical Designer holds the accountability for virtual sampling by constructing apparel in 3D using the modelling software called CLO3D and will work closely with our designers to create the highest-quality fashion and motion graphic visuals for our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
∎ Create patterns for new products with 3D pattern making software (CLO, OPTITEX)
∎ Create and develop measurement charts
∎ Adapt design concepts into 3D CAD systems to make design, pattern and 3D sampling
∎ Develop and test fitting and function in 3D
∎ Use strong understanding of styling, construction, fabric and fit for accuracy
∎ Conduct virtual fit adjustments on 3D scan dummies, according to style, fabric and activity
∎ Work on automated process updates with correction and modification in real time
∎ Research new methods, critical and analytical evaluation to minimize wastage of fabric
∎ Implement time study for each process in 3D pattern and fit module, to analyze system speed and efficiency
Additional Requirements:
∎ 3 - 5 years' experience in 3D modelling in the Apparel industry working with a brand, liaison office or sourcing office
∎ Candidates who have undergone training with 3D pattern software companies (CLO/OPTITEX) will get preference
∎ Should be able to work on both Mac and Windows PC
∎ Additional Job Requirements:
∎ Strong interpersonal skills, ability to interact and build relationships and work as a team
∎ Should be well-groomed, smart and energetic
∎ Strong presentation and delivery skills
∎ Strong attention to detail and accuracy, aiming for perfection
∎ Excellent written and verbal communication both in Bangla and English
∎ IT proficiency - CLO, OPTITEX, ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR / IN DESIGN
∎ Should be proactive and dynamic, ability to work hard efficiently
∎ Ability to multitask and remain organized, meet deadlines
∎ Extensive understanding of human forms
∎ Extensive understanding of fabric orientation
∎ Curious and research enthused mindset
∎ Passionate about fashion
