∎ Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team
∎ Ready to travel frequently in the Khulna region.

∎ Fluent in English both written and spoken.
∎ Ability to write case stories/ blogs/contents on project activities.
∎ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders.

Responsibilities & Context:
∎ To gather information on the most significant changes with the help of Partner NGOs.
∎ To prepare case stories, human interest stories and document the success of the project.
∎ To capture quality photos for documenting success, designing infographics or fact sheets.
∎ To foster collaboration with partners, CSOs, and other stakeholders and contribute to a positive team environment.
∎ Prepare an outline for the partner staff to develop case stories.
∎ To support the project team in preparing the monthly communication plan.
∎ Write blog posts and Facebook or LinkedIn posts with the support of the Senior IT Manager of Helvetas Bangladesh.

∎ Young Professional - Knowledge Management & Documentation
∎ The southwest coastal region of Bangladesh is one of the country’s most disaster-prone areas. In particular, the Bagerhat and Khulna districts are experiencing severe climate-related events such as cyclones, storms, tidal floods, and increasing salinity of soil and water sources, which put the lives and livelihoods of local communities at great risk. Local governments, specifically Union Parishads (UP) have the competences to take action, and populations are by law entitled to be informed (Right to Information Act 2009) and the right to have their say on how public funds are allocated through the Open budget meetings (The Local Government Act 2009). But communities are often unaware of the development and implementation of their UP-development strategies, plans and budgets, and local governments are ill-equipped to foster people’s participation. To address these challenges, the EVOLVE (Enhance Voice for the Inclusion of the Vulnerable and their Empowerment) project is working with Civil Society Organizations (CSO), Community Based Organizations (CBO) and CSO Network, enabling them to bring the voice of women and other disadvantaged groups to local decision-makers. This project contributes to the promotion and implementation of climate adaptation policies that respond to the needs of the most vulnerable.
∎ As the project completes its third year and enters a six-month no-cost extension (April- September 2025), it seeks a passionate young talent with strong documentation and writing skills to capture the project’s successes, lessons learned, and best practices from the field. The young professional will assist the project team in capturing knowledge, documenting learning, developing case stories and creating project success.
∎ The key responsibilities for this role may include the following but are not limited to:
